NAPA VALLEY, CA (June 3, 2016) NASA (National Auto Sport Association) is pleased to announce an exciting new enhancement to the already generous benefit program being offered by Nissan Motorsports to Spec Z competitors attending the 2016 NASA Championships. In addition to the generous contingency program (available here), the newly announced enhancement program will provide the first 10 registrants at the 2016 NASA Eastern States Championships and the first 10 registrants at the 2016 Western States Championships with a cash benefit totaling half their registration fee up to $500 dollars. Simply be one of the first 10 competitors to register for the Spec Z class at either Championship event by July 1 and start the final race during the event and you’ll be awarded $500 cash following your respective event. This is in addition to the $3,500 cash Nissan Motorsports makes available to Spec Z competitors at the 2016 NASA Championships.  Competitors must provide entry proof and file a claim.  You must also be a registered member of the Nissan Motorsports program prior to the event.

“NASA Spec Z competition is the place to be if you have a 350Z and we want to support those competitors as best we can with a generous awards package,” said Richard Kulach, Nissan North America, Motorsports Manager “We look forward to seeing great fields of Spec Z cars at the two premier NASA Championships events this season and to the continued growth of the class. We’re honored to be able to continue our support of it.”

“Nissan is making available a fantastic awards program for our Spec Z competitors in 2016,” said Jeremy Croiset, NASA Director of Business Development. “Having campaigned a Spec Z myself early on in the series development, I know first hand how great of a class this is and believe the Spec Z competitors will benefit greatly from this new offering from Nissan Motorsports.”
